Broome County Council of Churches
***** Volunteers Needed *****
Drivers - individuals who can and will drive Broome Bounty/CHOW pick upand delivery routes in either a council truck or van. Donations areavailable to us, but we do not have enough drivers to pick them up. Mos thelp is needed in the afternoon.
Warehouse help - individuals or groups who would be willing to sort andpack donated items for distribution. No heavy lifting involved. Help needed at any time of day.
Child care - many of our recovering families need someone to watch their children while they clean or work in a flood environment. Professional facilities are available, we need people who are willing to staff them. Help needed throughout the day.
Recovery teams - small groups, willing to work as a team, to assist in cleanup, recovery tasks. You will be assigned tasks as a team, matching your skills to those needed, from basic recovery/cleaning to ligh tdemolition. If you are interested, it's most helpful if you can sign up as a team, with one team member as the contact person. Help needed at anytime.

7/4 - Please also look at the posts regarding assistance for citizens. All of those agencies providing assistance NEED volunteers. If you live near one and weren't affected severely, please consider volunteering a few hours as often as you can to help out. The more everyone helps, the faster this will get cleaned up and back to normal!
